NOTES:

During an 11-year period beginning in 1984, Ron Lewis produced some of the most enduring sports-art collectibles in the hobby. His oil paintings of baseball, basketball, football and hockey heroes were reproduced on lithographs, postcards, trading cards, collector plates, baseballs, posters and other items that are still widely sought by collectors.

In 1988, Ron Lewis assembled the Eleven Living Members of Baseball's "500 Home Run Club" on Canvas. Ted Williams, Frank Robinson, Harmon Killebrew, Reggie Jackson, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Mike Schmidt, Earnie Banks, Eddie Mathews, Willie McCovey.

As with all his artwork, the large 21"x 38" lithograph was specifically created with a perfect aesthetic place for an autograph to be affixed, so fans and collectors can pursue their hobby of obtaining autographs. The reason why he depicted "living Members" of the 500 Home Run Club. Lewis attended autograph shows on both coasts, signing his work along with dozens of sports immortals. The original "500 Home Run Club" art was signed "Ron Lewis 88" and was reproduced on the lithographed above the MLB logo. He did also sign the posters in person at the autograph shows in that area.
