NOTES:

These large 3 inch Baseball Hall of Fame Photo Buttons were made by Sports Photo Associates located in Hawthorne NJ. The company produced a set of 25 Hall of Fame buttons, starting with an "HF" prefix, numbered HF1 through HF25. The first 18 Buttons HF1 - HF18 have a 1978 copyright and buttons HF19 - HF25 a 1981 Copyright. The officially Licensed buttons featured a color photo pose, the players name in print on the left, the buttons "HF" designation to the right, and the words "Baseball Hall of Fame" arched over the top.

Sports Photo Associates also produced a larger number of photo buttons at the same time picturing players of the day. The photos were also used for 1981 Fleer baseball cards. The pins were packaged in a small plastic bag attached to a "Baseball Photo Button" hang card, with company and licensing information. The buttons were sold in local novelty stores, and at the ballparks.
