NOTES:

These 7/8 inch baseball team logo vending buttons were made by Samuel Eppy & Co. Inc. located in Jamaica, Queens, N.Y.C. One of the largest manufactures of vending machine charms, Samuel Eppy might have also manufactured the 1961-1969 Guy's and Crane Potato Chips premium Buttons. The buttons are the same size, use the same logo designs, and also features the "Made In U.S.A." printing along the rim instead of a manufacture credit line. Both the Guy's and Crane Potato Chips premium pins can be identified by the printing on the back.

The Samuel Eppy "Big League Baseball Club Picture buttons," as they were advertised in the 1956 ad below, were made to be placed in capsules, and dispensed in vending machines. (Gumball Machines) These buttons that predate the potato chip premiums, are exactly the same but have a "Safety Lock." The back of the Eppy pins were left blank, as were the 1962 Guy's Potato Chips buttons, but the safety lock, separates the two.
