Established
in 1946 by Edwin McLaughlin and
Charles Millard, the McLaughlin-Millard
company produced baseball bats for 30
years before merging with Rawlings in
1975. Based in Dolgeville, New York,
the company became Adirondack Bats
Inc., by 1958, then Adirondack
Industries in 1968.
The cover of the 1968 Adirondack baseball bat catalog features the new

baseball bat player endorsements
includes; Willie Mays, Rico Carty, Vada
Pinson, Tony Kubek, Tommy Harper, Rich
Rollins, Ron Santo, Lee Thomas, Jim
Hart, Jim Davenport, Willie McCovey,
and John Roseboro. The catalog also
features; Fungo bats, Pony, Babe Ruth,
and Little League bats, Softball Bats,
and an Adirondack display rack, which
hold 42 bats.
