In 1972 Sports Stars Enterprises,
Inc., Houston, TX. presented a series
of instructional sports records,
"Voices Of The Professionals." The
33-1/3 RPM records featured
Sportscaster Len Johnson conducting
interviews with six sport-stars.
Football's Paul Warfield - "How To
Catch A Pass," and Basketball's John Havlicek - "Winning Basketball. Four
baseball records included: Dave
McNally: "Theory of Pitching," Ernie
Banks: "Theory Of Hitting," Brooks
Robinson: "Theory Of Fielding," and
Tom Seaver: "The Art Of
Pitching"
Each record came with a 5 by 6 inch, twelve page instruction
booklet, with a 1968 copyright licensed
by MLBPA: "Twenty Years Of Hitting" With
Ernie Banks; "The Winning Ways Of
Pitching" By Dave McNally; "The Golden
Glove" Of Brooks Robinson; and "The Art
of Pitching by Tome Seaver.
