NOTES:
 
   Ralph S. Bell a survivor of Nazi concentration camps, including Auschwitz, immigrated to the U.S. after WWII. In 1947 he met up with 2 other survivors, and they started up Trio Sporting Goods in Chicago. The company also had a business relationship with Hillcrest Sporting Goods that operated from 1962 to 1981.

 The 25th Anniversary 1947-1972 Trio Hollander catalog has the following information at the bottom of the cover: Trio Sporting Goods MFG Co. 1621-29 West Carroll Avenue, Chicago, IL 60612 Eastern Sales Office: Blackburn & Glickman Assoc., Inc. 212 Fifth Avenue New York, N.Y. 10010 Telephone (212) 684-07130. Canada Branch: Hillcrest Sporting Goods INC. POB 187, West River St., Paris Ont. Warehouse and Shipping Points: Chicago, New York, Paris, Ont.

 In 1972, Trio Sporting Goods, introduced multi-colored baseball gloves. Signature model baseball glove, player endorsements includes; Joe DiMaggio, Mild Papas, Frank Howard, Ed Kranpool, Vada Pinson, Dean Chance, Ted Abernathy, Bobby Murcer, Bud Harrelson, Donn Clendenon, and Jerry Grote.

 The catalog also feature signature endorsed baseballs of, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Abernathy (practice ball), Bobby Murcer, Frank Howard and Dean Chance. Trio Hollander Baseball and Softball bats made by Hillerich & Bradsby Co., Louisville KY.
