NOTES:

   Words written by play-by-play broadcaster Ernie Harwell, and music by one time Detroit Tigers pitcher Bill Slayback; "Move Over Babe (Here Comes Henry)" was a song about Hank Aaron's journey in overtaking Babe Ruth for the all-time home run record. In 1973, Slayback recorded the song on a 45 RPM record under the Karen records label. The sheet music published by Iramac Music Co., features a black & white picture of 'Hamerin Hank" on the cover title page, and also pictures Harwell, and Slayback on the back.

  "Move Over Babe (Here Comes Henry) - Lyrics 1973
Words by Ernie Harwell, music by Bill Slayback.

  Move over Babe, here comes Henry,
and he’s swinging mean.
 Move over , Babe, Hank’s hit another;
he’ll break that seven fourteen.

 Here’s a man from Alabam; “Hamm’rin Henry” is his name.
Mister Aaron, “King of Slam,” nailing down his all time fame

Move over Babe, here comes Henry,
and he’s swinging mean.
 Move over , Babe, Hank’s hit another;
he’ll break that seven fourteen.

 When the “Hammer” hits one out; that’s what baseball’s all about
He’s on the Braves’ round trip express doing what he does the best

Move over Babe, here comes Henry,
and he’s swinging mean.
 Move over , Babe, Hank’s hit another;
he’ll break that seven fourteen

Move over Babe, here comes Henry,
and he’s swinging mean.
 Move over , Babe, Hank’s hit another;
he’ll break that seven fourteen
He’ll break that seven fourteen. (coda)
