NOTES:

   M. Denkert & Co. a manufacture of leather sporting goods was founded by Mitchell Denkert in 1900. The M. Denkert & Co. was the main supplier of dozens of private labeled brands in addition to the Denkert Brand of baseball gloves. Private labels include: Tru-Sport, Gambles-Hiawath, Olympian, Yale, Geo Worthington Co, Johnny Walker, The Drier Co, Marathon (Montgomery Ward), Olympic, R.H. Macy Co., JC Higgins (sears) and many others. M. Denkert & Co. closed its business in 1973.

During the 1940s Denkert included "The Finer Points of Baseball" booklet, inside each box of Denkert baseball gloves. Denkert also did the same for privately branded baseball gloves they produced for other companies such as: Davega; Wasco; Em-Jay; Monarch; and Olympic. Signature model baseball glove endorsements included: Pee Wee Reese; Frank Hayes; Eddie Morgan, Charlie Keller; and as advertised Joe Medwick; Gus Suhr.

"The Finer Points Of Baseball" 8 page foldout booklet covers: Catching; First Base; Second Base; Short Stop; Third Base; and How To Play The Outfield.
