is a ticket stub from Game 1 of the 1921 World Series
played between the New York Giants and the
New York
Yankees at the Polo Grounds. In 1921 two years
before Yankee Stadium was built, the Yankees shared the
Polo Grounds with the Giants. Game one the Giants were
the home team as they were every other game in this
eight game series.
Condition is important on value for these tickets,
and even slight flaws will bring the price down
significantly. Common flaws include creases, rips, and
badly torn ticket stubs. Ticket stubs that have not been
torn cleanly will sell for less as well.
