1910 Reach OAL Baseball

In 1910 the "Patented April 6, 1909" stamp is added below "OFFICIAL, American League Ball" The letters in the word "OFFICIAL" is slightly tightened to where the "O" in Official is centered above the "c" in the word "American" (centered more towards the "i" from 1901-1909) In 1910 the Manufactured under Patent stamping is added to the east panel which reads "Manufactured under patent sale Licensed at not less than $1.25 Retail under pen,-alty of infringement." Below is stamped with "Pat'D Aug. 31-09" the date the patent was approved. The "Patented April 6, 1909" date was when the patent was applied for. The patent was for the cork-Rubber constructed center core.

In 1911 and 1912 the "Manufactured under Patent" retail stamp appears on the west panel but without the "Pat'D Aug. 31-09" which was then placed on the sweet spot. The north panel with the Reach logo remains the same as the year before with "MADE IN U.S.A." at the top and "REG.U.S.PAT.OFF." below. The south specification panel reads "WARRANTED" at the top, second line reads "5 OZ. 9 IN." with "1 OZ. RUBBER." at the bottom.
