NOTES:
 
   Great Western Athletic Goods of Chicago was primarily a uniform manufacturer. Thomas E. Wilson & Co. Athletic Goods wanting to establish a niche in the uniform market, merged with Great Western in 1925. The company was renamed Wilson-Western Sporting Goods. Then in 1931, changed to the Wilson Sporting Goods Co. Wilson also produced Great Western branded baseball equipment for the GW catalog.

 Great Western Circuit Drive "Pepperized" baseball bat models include: 240R, Babe Ruth Major League, 240D Joe Di Maggio Major League, 240M Pepper Martin Major League, 240G Lou Gehrig Major League, 240O Melvin Ott Major League. Base Hit models 230A Professional style duplicates of player models; Ruth Di Maggio, Pepper Martin, Gehrig, Foxx, Ott. All endorsements are BLOCK LETTER, and under contract with Louisville Slugger. Suggesting H&B manufactured the bats.

 Official Soft Ball bats include SB40 "Pepperized" Non-Slip Grip , SB41 Cork Grip, SB42 Zapon Grip, SB43 Taped Handle (dark Walnut), And SB44 Taped Handle white ash.
