NOTES:

The Hoke baseball bat was manufactured by Mason D. Hoke, of Lebanon Pennsylvania. Hoke, owned and operated a hotel at, 9-11 East Weidman St. As with most business during the Great Depression, Hoke looked for ways to bring in extra income. A retired tool handle manufacturer, Hoke tried his hand in the manufacturing of baseball bats, in 1933.

Selling the bats under the brand name Hoke Baseball Bat Mfg., there is no evidence that the bats were produced after 1933. The bat features a "Made By Hoke Lebanon PA." oval center brand. One of the three known Hoke baseball bats in the hobby has a reverse branding.

Masson D. Hoke was a candidate for Lebanon County Commissioner, in 1915, and 1919. He passed away in 1958, at the age of 86.
