NOTES:

The Wales 'Made of Selected Wood' baseball bats do not feature a manufacture Co. or location branding. There is no available company information on Wales. All products under the Wales brand name, which included; transistor radios, cameras, sporting goods such as baseball gloves, baseball bats, and baseballs, were imported from Japan. None of the products or packaging, included company information, a physical address, other than Japan. Products were sold in discount stores such as Pay Less Drug Stores, Bargain Fair, Wig Wam, and Sad sack, in the early to mid 1960's.

The Wales brand baseball gloves are most commonly found in the collectors market. There are two slightly different baseball bat brandings, that were marketed from about 1961-1966. One known player model a 'Big League Duke Snider' bat with name in block letters. The bulk of the collectors value for a baseball bat relies on the player endorsement, and will vary accordingly. This baseball bat without one, will rely on the little known Wales branding. These type of bats could run from $20.-$150. more or less based on condition and attractiveness. I don't see a great demand, for this generic type discount store bat brand, and more than likely the value would be closer to the low end of that price range.
