Inside each wrapper of the 1970s
product Big Bazooka was a large slab of
Bazooka gum sandwiched between two
trading cards featuring Bazooka Joe
comics. This was the first trading card
series devoted to the iconic Topps
character, who first debuted in 1954. In 1970 Topps introduced
the 2.5" x 3.5" standard
size trading cards that came with an
equal sized piece of bubble gum and two
cards in a pack. The backs of the 66
card set were numbered and featured
puzzle pieces. There were three
different puzzles, that could be
formed.

different puzzles on the back. The 1975

The four puzzles on the back were also
numbered 1-4. The 1976 - 66 card set
were also numbered on the front left

featured "The Amazing World Of Magic."
The 1978, 66 card set, were also
numbered on the from 78-1 through
78-66, but featured numbered premiums
on the back.
The five, 1970-1977 sets featured the numbered premiums on the front.
These were the same numbered premiums
offered on the Bazooka Joe comic bubble
