This Mickey Mantle Game Used 89A Adirondack baseball bat is from the 1960 season. The year Mantle led the American League with 40 Home Runs. The most famous came on September 10th during a visit to Detroit, that cleared the right-field roof of Tiger Stadium and was subsequently estimated to have traveled a distance of 643 feet.

This thirty-five and a half inch (35.5"), thirty-two and a half ounce (32.6 oz.) war club exhibits multiple ball marks, cleat divots, rack streaks and a light coating of pine tar on the cracked handle. Two star shapes are stamped into the knob end for reasons unknown, invisible upon standard display.
