Established in 1958, Fleetwood began recording Sports Albums in 1966. The
first "Havlicek Stole The Ball"
featuring highlights of the Boston
Celtic Championship Play-offs from 1956
to 1966. Later that year Fleetwood
Records issued "Impossible Dream," a
recording that was originally a radio
special put together by radio station
WHDH and highlighted the Red Sox
incredible season of 1967.
"The Impossible Dream" The Broadway melody that became the theme song for
the team, tells the story of the
American League's champion "Cardiac
Kids." The "Voice of the Red Sox," WHDH
Sports Director Ken Coleman, did the
narration. The cover artwork depicts a
Red Sox hitter, breaking out of the
batters box. The back has a black &
white team picture, and photos of:

O'Connell Executive Vice President and
General Manager, Haywood C. Sullivan
Vice President and Director of Player
Personal, Dick Williams Manager, and
the Red Sox broadcasters: Hen Coleman,
Ned Martin, and Mel Parnell, who called

Side 1, "The Impossible Dream" 17 minutes of playing time, features
the songs: "The Impossible Dream,"
"Take Me Out to the Ball Game," and "Shoutin'
Liza Trombone." Side 2, "The Unsinkable
Team," 20:48 playing time features
the same songs.
