1970 - The
Big Red Machine Narrated by Jim
Mcintyre, and Joe Nuxhall. Exciting
play-by-play action of the Cincinnati
Reds drive to the N.L. Pennant. It all
started that day during the summer of
1969 when Pete Rose came out and called
it "The Big Red Machine" That is when
the magic started. The cover art
depicts Manager Sparky Anderson driving
the Big Red Machine with his player
passengers, as the rest of the league
looks on with fear.
The back of the album cover features a Cincinnati Reds team photo at the
top, followed by the official
Cincinnati Reds logo. To the right are
a lone of photos picturing;
Owner-President Francis L. Dale
President, Executive Vice
President-General Manager Robert L
Howsam, Manager Sparky Anderson,
Announcers Jim Mcintyre and Joe Nuxhall.
Below is a write-up by Bob Hertzee of
the Cincinnati Enquirer. This album is
a WLW custom recording produced by the
Fleetwood Recording Company Inc.
Revere, Massachusetts.
