On Sunday August 20, 2023, in a
game against the Boston Red Sox, the
New York Yankees gave away a Roger
Maris 61 Bobblehead to the first 18,000
fans to enter Yankee Stadium. The Roger
Maris #61 Bobblehead Day promotion,
which was sponsored by TikTok, was Part
one of two in a collectors set.
The
base with the TikTok logo reads; "Roger
Maris" on the front, with the number 61
behind the Roger Maris figure in a
Yankees home pinstripe number 9
uniform, swinging a bat from the left
side. It also has a "Puzzle piece" on
the right, to interlock with an Aaron
Judge 62 Bobblehead, Part Two of Two in
the collectors set.
On Saturday September 23, 2023, in a game against the Arizona D-backs at
Yankee Stadium, the Yankees will give
away the Aaron Judge #62 Bobblehead, to
the first 18,000 fans. The base with
the TikTok logo reads; "Aaron Judge" on
the front, with the number 62 behind
the Aaron Judge
figure in a Yankees grey away number 99
uniform, swinging a bat from the right
side. It also has a "Puzzle piece" but
on the left side, to interlock with the
Roger Maris Bobblehead.
The Bobblehead set made by Alexander Global Promotions, was produced to
commemorate Aaron Judge breaking the
single season American League home run
record of 61, held by Roger Maris, in
2022.
