NOTES:

Up until 1979 the date was not included on New York Yankees Grandstand & Bleacher tickets. Once you have figured out the year of your ticket using the Grandstand Ticket Stub Dating Guide, you will need to figure out the game that the ticket is attributed to. Correctly attributing the game number on a ticket to the game played will effect the value. A ticket stub will increase in value due to a significant event, or player milestone. A hitting or pitching milestone by a noted player such as a Home Run by Babe Ruth or a shutout thrown by Herb Pennock will have added value.

This New York Yankees Home Schedule is a list of home games to help attribute the number on a ticket to the game(s) played. In 1925 the Yankees were scheduled to play 154 games. 77 Road games, and 77 Home games. NOTE: The Yankees played 79 home Games in 1925. A Game scheduled on Aug. 20 in Detroit was rained out and added to scheduled Game No. 75, a make up game, played as a double header at Yankee Stadium on Sept. 27. That Game was played, and ended in a Tie, and then added to Game No. 76 as a Make Up double header on Sept. 28.

Tickets for games that were rained out were voided. If the "Make Up Game" for the rain out was added to another scheduled game to create a double header, the ticket number of that scheduled game was used for admission to both games. If the rain out game was made up on an off day, the ticket issued for admission to that game featured a Letter for the Game No.

For a scheduled double header, the ticket with the first Game No. of the two scheduled games was used for admission to both games. NOTE: Separate game admission for Holiday Double Headers was common in the 1920's, and two separate ticket No.'s were used for admittance to each game. The NY Times Baseball Results pictured below left column shows the changing trend from Separate admission to single Admission. Separate admission double headers were noted as "Morning Game" & "Afternoon Game" Single admission double headers were noted as "Game 1" & "Game 2"

The Yankees were the first of the three New York teams to try single admission Holiday Double Headers, on July 4, 1923 and the trend of separate admission double headers was phased out by the 1940's

On the Yankees Home Game schedule printed before the season started (pictured below left column) the separate admission double header games were noted with an "A.M." for the morning game, and "P.M." for the afternoon game. Single admission Double Headers had "+Holiday -Two Games P.M." noted at the bottom. (see image below left column)
