NOTES:

Up until 1979 the date was not included on New York Yankees Grandstand & Bleacher tickets. Once you have figured out the year of your ticket using the Grandstand Ticket Stub Dating Guide, you will need to figure out the game that the ticket is attributed to. Correctly attributing the game number on a ticket to the game played will effect the value. A ticket stub will increase in value due to a significant event, or player milestone. A hitting or pitching milestone by a noted player such as a Home Run by Mickey Mantle or a shutout thrown by Whitey Ford will have added value.

This New York Yankees Home Schedule is a list of home games to help attribute the number on a ticket to the game(s) played. In 1932 the Yankees were scheduled to play 154 games. 77 Road games, and 77 Home games.

Tickets for games that were rained out were voided. If the "Make Up Game" for the rain out was added to another scheduled game to create a double header, the ticket number of that scheduled game was used for admission to both games. If the rain out game was made up on an off day, the ticket issued for admission to that game featured a Letter for the Game No. NOTE: Lettered Game numbers can also be attributed to games that exceeded the Stadium capacity of 67,000. Ticket Game No. D (pictured below, left column) might have been used to accommodate this type of crowd over flow but because of the lack of attendance records in 1932, we cannot attribute the ticket to a specific game at this time.

Heading into the 1930's baseball saw a major decline in week-day afternoon single game attendance, due in part to the great depression, and high unemployment. To boost gate receipts Baseball offered two games for the price of one. What they did was remove a scheduled single week-day game and added it to a Sunday game earlier in the season. They called it a "Synthetic Double Header" (Synthetic Double Headers, were sometimes created due to stress on the schedule caused by excessive Rain outs)  NOTE: Game No. 71 scheduled for Aug. 31, vs Chicago was removed and added to Game No. 69 played on Aug. 29, as a  Synthetic Double Header.

For a scheduled double header, the first game number of the two was used on the ticket for admission to both games. NOTE: Separate game admission for Holiday Double Headers were more common in the 1920's, and two separate ticket No.'s were used for admittance to each game, as is the case for the May 30, 1932 double header vs. Boston. Ticket Game No. 30 was used for the A.M. Game, and Ticket Game No. 31 was used for the P.M. game. Also the Sept 5, 1932 double header vs. Philadelphia. Ticket Game No. 76 was used for the A.M. Game, and Ticket Game No. 77 was used for the P.M. game.
