NOTES:

Spalding, Rawlings, and Louisville Slugger glove oil tins made during the 1960's through the 1970's. The containers made a generation after these three, were made of plastic. The Spalding "SPEED-EE" Mitt and Glove Dressing was positively identified to a 1969 Spalding catalog. As I gain access to more catalogs I will up date the specific dating. The Rawlings "GLOVEOLIUM" Baseball Glove Dressing was dated by a modern Special addition tin, that Rawlings advertises as "1960's Retro GLOVEOLIUM" The tin is exact, but reads "1960 Retro Special Edition" at the bottom and does not have the red nozzle.

The "World Famous Louisville Slugger Glove Softener" is dated to a 1977 catalog ad. The Hillerich & Bradsby Co. did not manufacture gloves before or much earlier than the 1970's so the can is more than likely from the 1970's. This still needs to be confirmed and updated. It seems that all three companies ordered the glove oil from the same manufacture, and had their brand added to the can.
