Cambridge glove oil

Established in 1943 Cambridge Sporting Goods Corp. was a sporting Goods wholesale distributor located in North Bergen NJ. Their catalog included a full line of sporting goods made by the major manufactures. They also carried a Cambridge line of sporting goods that were manufactured and privately branded for them by other companies, which included this can of glove oil.

The front paper label features a player illustration in red, with the Cambridge script logo at the top. At the bottom reads "GLOVE -LIFE, GLOVE OIL, 8 OUNCES" The back labels reads at the top "-8 OZ - , GLOVE OIL" In the center separated by a pair of lines reads "for softening and preserving all kinds of Leather and oiled Clothing., DIRECTIONS FOR USE, Do not apply Glove Oil on Damp or Wet Leather, USE FREELY." The bottom reads; "Cambridge Sporting Goods Corp. North Bergen N.J.
