NOTES:

Ed Maynard Inc. of Plymouth New Hampshire was a company started up in 1932, by John Edward Maynard, son of John Fernando Maynard, co-founder of the Draper and Maynard Sporting Goods Co. Ed Maynard's Sporting Goods company, was a manufacturer of outdoor clothing, and of sports equipment that included tennis rackets, Skis, uniforms, baseball bats and gloves. Ed Maynard Inc. filed for bankruptcy in 1941.

The few baseball glove models that were produced during the short time the company was in business include; the "Professional Model" No. F50, tunnel loop web fielders glove, which was one of the earliest glove made by Maynard (illustrated in the 1933 circular below). The G8 Fielders glove with a grommet web, and this "All Star" No. F34 fielders glove with a double tunnel web, and a buckle back strap wrist adjustment. The back of the pinky finger reads "Maynard Made in Plymouth, N.H." Other gloves feature a "Ed Maynard Made" button back wrist strap. Ed Maynard Inc. also made private branded baseball gloves for B&B Sporting goods of Boston.
