The H. Niedecken

items that included toys, decorative
china, "Holiday Novelties" druggists'
sundries, and Base Ball Goods.
In 1881 Henry Niedecken Sr. handed over part of the business to his sons
Henry Jr. & Edward before his death in
1888. The sons incorporated the
business, naming Edward president &
Henry Jr. Vice President. The sons
explored different business ventures
that included, Iron ore mining,
Importing, and Edward even held an 1891
patent for a Saw-mill-carriage offset.
The next generation of Niedeckens
continued to expand the business
throughout Wisconsin, Michigan,
portions of Iowa and the Northwest.
