NOTES:
 
    Hillcrest Sporting Goods Inc., with a warehouse located in Queens Village, NY, was a sporting goods distributor, which operated from about 1962 to 1981. The company had a business relationship with the Trio Sporting Goods MFG. Company. Both companies distributed imported and domestic sporting goods.

 Like "Trio Hollander," they imported baseball gloves from the Far East, made from leather processed by A.J. Hollander & Co., in Japan. By 1970, 250,000 hides a year from Garden City, Kansas, were shipped overseas to Japan. Hillcrest used the "Hollander" name brand on their gloves.

 This Ed Kranepool Hollander Yankee Clipper Line, signature model first baseman's mitt features Prime Grain Cowhide, Greased Palm, and Radial Laced heel. The back features the Hollander - Japan, Cloth Patch.

 The Hillcrest Sporting Goods, Hollander Line of Signature Model baseball gloves include:  Clete Boyer CB-1358, CB-1362, CB-1371; Bill Verdon BV-1384; Ralph Terry RT 1369, RT-1380; Donn Clendenon First Baseman's Mitt; Joe Adcock F-1297 First Baseman's Mitt;

 The Yankee Clipper Line baseball gloves include: Joe DiMaggio 1506 -JD, 1544 -JD, 1560 -JD, 1594 -JD; Sandy Koufax 1545 -SK, 1575 -SK, 1598 -SK; Clete Boyer 1591 -CB; Joe Pepitone 1228 -JP; Dean Chance 1561 -DC; Jim Pagliaroni 1255 -PA Catchers Mitt.
