NOTES:

This is a Circa 1952 - 1959 Spalding 1395 Fast Play First Base Mitt. The manufacturing glove design features for this mitt includes; a "Form Pocket" and and a one piece barrel Style sewn web anchored to the "U" crotch, more commonly found on fielders gloves. The original box is pictured below for this "Fast Play" Spalding model, that retailed for $7.50. The original plain box in good condition that the glove was sold in could add about 20% the value of the glove, slightly higher or lower in better or worse condition accordingly. Picture Boxes for player endorsed baseball gloves will add a significantly higher price, and the percentage will vary based on the demand for that player's memorabilia.
