In
1969 Kelly's Potato Chips issued
a 20 pin set, mostly featuring players
of the Midwest; Detroit Tigers, St.
Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Chicago
White Sox, and Cincinnati Reds, along
with two San Francisco Giant players,
and one Boston Red Sox. Officially licensed by the Major
League Baseball Players Association
each button has a black & white player photo in the
center surrounded by either a red
border for AL players, or a blue border
for the NL players. The
player's team is at the top, and name at the bottom. Kelly's
clover logo appears to the left
while the word "Zip!" is printed to the
right, for the companies slogan: "The Chip With the Zip."
The unnumbered pins read "© 1969 MLBPA" along the rim.
