Feel it in the air,
It must have been June,
I was having wet dreams over Wally Moon.
He Jumped into my bed,
My body got hot,
I said come on Wally give me one more moonshot
Because I'm a baseball card lover
Backing Vocals –(He's a baseball card lover)
I'm a baseball card lover
Backing Vocals –(He's a baseball card lover)
I'm a baseball card lover
Honey, show me your cards
In this dream, I was coppin' a feel
of the second baseman Charlie Neal.
All through my spine, I was feeling chills,
And slipping into my covers slid Maury Wills.
I'm a baseball card lover
Backing Vocals –(He's a baseball card lover)
I'm a baseball card lover
Backing Vocals –(He's a baseball card lover)
I'm a baseball card lover
Honey, trade me your cards.
Guitar Solo
(Oh
you gotta' Come in Duke, come on, come on Charlie,
ah-ha-ha, faster, faster, faster, that's where I like
to go, come on give it to me oh yea,
that's what I like, hit it, hit it, ahh slam one, come
on slide, OHhhh)
Hands were shakin' I tried to relax
When into my bed climbed Sandy Koufx.
My legs were numb, my face was pale,
when joined the party was Don Drysdale.
I hoped out of bed, ran into the shower,
but pickin' up the soap was a big Frank Howard.
I'm a baseball card lover
