I
Love old stuff the most. My
favorite cards are from 1904 though
1959, but I also collect all eras,
including current cards. I don't
collect Mint. Having a card in
lessor condition is more important
to me than not having it because I
can't afford it in really great
shape.
I
have every Bowman Yankee card from
1948 -1955, and every Topps regular
issue Yankee card from 1951-1980, I
also have most Yankee cards from
1981 to the present, but don't try
to get all. I have most of the
Yankee Tobacco cards, Goudey,
Diamond Stars, Playball, and a ton
of Oddball cards.
My
favorite Items are: the sign that
hung in Yankee Stadium, my 3
personally obtained autographs of
Willie, Mickey, and the Duke (Just
like the song) That I put on one
plaque, and my really good
high-class replica of the 1996
Yankees World Championship Ring. I
also love my replica World Series
trophy. As far as favorite cards,
my old Ruth's, Gehrig's, DiMaggio's
and Mantle's particularly, the 4
1934 Goudey Ruth cards, and both
Mantle rookies. |
