NOTES:

The Coca-Cola Collect A Hit five part recording series included; pitching tips, hitting hints, and the mental aspects of playing baseball, plus highlights and interviews with 1978 All-Star Game players. The records were made available in San Diego county only.

To obtain the records you had to collect any 12 liner caps from 16 & 26 ounce bottles of coke for each record you want. Attach the liner caps onto a carton stuffer which is included inside each carton of Coke. Then take the completed carton stuffers to window E at San Diego Stadium when the Padres were at home and redeem your carton stuffer for a free record.

The 5 record Flexi-disc set was produced by Evatone Inc. and included Record 1 - Whitey Wietelmann and Randy Jones, (available July 21-Aug. 2) Record 2 - Gaylord Perry and Rollie Fingers (available Aug. 10-Aug. 13) Record 3 - Roger Craig Dave Winfield and Billy Herman (available Aug. 24-Sept. 2) Records 4 -& 5 1978 All-Star Game Highlights and interviews (available Spt. 11-Oct. 1).
